7 Daze came to be in its current form through the breaking up and combining of two bands. Darryl and Terry were originally playing in another local band "Alive" with a bass player and were searching for a singer.
Thats when Bob came along, having recently left his band.
All was going well, until the bass player had to relocate for work, leaving Alive bass-less. The space was filled for a while, but when it looked like it wasn't going to work out, Bob suggested contacting
the bass player Tim and guitarist Ranji from his previous band. Tim and Ranji came and jammed with us a couple of times and the chemistry was obvious. Then, a while later much to our dismay, Darryl aimicably decided the time had come to part ways with 'the Daze' gang. Happily, the void was quickly filled with a tallented, hard-driving young drummer. Enter Terry #2.
In late 2005, Rob Flight aimicable departed the 7 Daze camp to be replaced with Dan MacLellan on vocals. Subsequently, in 2006, due to personal reasons, Tim Frigault was replaced by previous Penalty Box bass guitarist, Dave Smith who fit the mould perfectly!
